Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Notice

Welcome to Roam India Today! I’m M Hassaan, and I’ve built this platform with a genuine passion for showcasing the incredible destinations, cultures, and travel experiences that India has to offer. Every piece of content on Roamindiatoday.com is created with care and dedication — and I have the same deep respect for the creative work of others.

That’s why copyright matters to me. This page explains how to report any content on Roamindiatoday.com that you believe infringes your copyright, in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

If you are a copyright owner — or an authorized representative acting on their behalf — and you believe that any content published on my site has been used without your permission, please reach out to me. I take every report seriously and will work to resolve it promptly.

To help me process your claim efficiently, please include the following in your notice:

  1. Your Contact Information — Your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address so I can get back to you.
  2. Description of the Copyrighted Work — A clear and specific description of the original work you believe has been infringed upon.
  3. Location of the Infringing Content — The exact URL or page link on Roamindiatoday.com where the content in question appears.
  4. Proof of Ownership or Authorization — A statement confirming that you are the copyright owner or are legally authorized to act on their behalf.
  5. Good Faith Statement — A statement declaring that you genuinely believe the use of this material is not authorized by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law.
  6. Accuracy Declaration — A sworn statement that all information provided in your notice is accurate, made under penalty of perjury.
  7. Your Signature — A physical or electronic signature to officially validate your claim.

What Happens After You Submit?

Once I receive your notice, I will review it as thoroughly and as quickly as possible. If your claim is valid, I will promptly remove or disable access to the content in question. Where applicable, I will also notify the individual who submitted the content and give them the opportunity to file a counter-notice if they believe the removal was made in error.

Counter-Notices

If your content was removed and you believe it was taken down by mistake — for example, if you held the appropriate rights, had explicit permission, or the use qualifies as fair use — you have the right to submit a counter-notice.

Your counter-notice should include the same details listed above, along with:

  • A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of your local federal court
  • A confirmation that you will accept service of process from the original claimant

If your counter-notice is valid and complete, I will review it and may reinstate the content within 10–14 business days, provided the original claimant does not pursue legal action in the meantime.

A Friendly Reminder

Submitting a false or misleading DMCA claim is a serious matter and can carry significant legal consequences. Please only file a notice if you are fully confident in your rights. I am committed to keeping Roam India Today a fair, respectful, and trustworthy space for travelers and content creators alike.
